Manipulating the Fuel vs Forage Paradox--Dr. Derek Scasta

Dr. Derek Scasta, Assistant Professor and Extension Rangeland Specialist with the University of Wyoming, spoke at the Chadron Forestry Field Day on August 20, 2015 about "Manipulating the Fuel vs. Forage Paradox: Implications for Ponderosa Pine Ecosystem Grazing."

Grass serves as both fuel load for fires and forage for livestock. Dr. Scasta discusses how we can optimize and balance this relationship.
